Vacation rentals in Salt Island

While St. John is our favorite place in the world, I can’t say enough about our experience at Eureka Villa — it was absolutely perfect for our two-couple group. Great location not far from Cruz Bay (and as a bonus: super close to Windmill Bar!). Was so appreciative of Elise being proactive upon our arrival to the island and personally escorting our Jeep to the location, showing us around the villa, and was more than willing to share her knowledge of the island. The panoramic view was indescribable. Loved having the cross-breeze from large glass/screen doors in the central space, while still having access to bedroom air conditioning for comfortable sleeping at night. Clean, organized, modern updates, STOCKED with home and beach supplies which saved lots of packing space for us — beach chairs, coolers, towels, snorkel gear, even had spare reef-safe sunscreen. Elise & John were immediately responsive to any questions and fantastic to work with. Already counting the days until our return.

This was our 2nd time staying in St John. This visit we brought our 6 & 4 year old with us! Stacey’s unit was everything we needed! The front desk concierge were so friendly. We actually arrived before check in and used their bathroom so we could immediately go to the beach. They offered to hold our luggage but we just kept it in our jeep rental until check in! We jumped in the pool every day, walked to dinner and ice cream every night. Her unit has a great parking spot right by the pool and elevator. Her locker of beach gear was useful for Long Beach days. The unit itself was so clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make breakfasts and lunches. The washer and dryer in the unit worked great. The beach cooler and beach towels were an added bonus for our stay! I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to travel to St. John! A stunning location with gorgeous views, this house is an absolute gem! Thank you, Eileen, for all of your local recommendations, responsiveness to all of my questions (we had a lot!), and for sharing your beautiful home with us. Perched on a hill and down a very unassuming road you find this oasis with ocean breezes, sounds of nature, and all of the necessities you could need. Perfect for my family of four, with two young kids. While the location is "on the other side of the island," we didn't mind the drive to Coral Bay or to the main beach area (Trunk, Maho)--- there was so much scenery to take in! We appreciated the beach chairs and towels, along with cooler bags, to make those trips easy. We also loved the beaches near the house, along with hiking the Ram Head Trail. The beds were super comfortable, we slept beautifully. We used the loft and the AC made for an easy sleep. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Jon and his team were incredibly supportive in helping us prepare in advance for our trip and our extended 3 generation family set up at the house, as well as any questions and requests during our stay. The house and setup were perfect for us, and our 12-day stay absolutely blissful. We enjoyed walks to the beach as much as leisurely floats in the infinity pool. If you leave with anything, it will be the distant calming sound of surf and the 180 views. We can’t wait to go back.

We loved this condo. Well appointed kitchen including a dishwasher and all the appliances you could ask for. Washer and dryer were very useful after a day at the beach . Everything was so close that we didn’t feel we needed a car (even tho you get a dedicated parking space). Shared taxis to the beaches are just 5 mins walk away. We appreciated use of the included beach chairs which were easy to carry on trips .

Amazing experience. View was perfect. Hosts were extremely helpful and gave great recommendations and instructions. Everybody on the resort was extremely friendly and helpful as well. 5 stars across the board, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Meritage house! The layout was spacious with beautiful views - better than the photos in all regards. A perfect house for a multigenerational trip - we had grandparents, parents, and teens (6 people). Location was very convenient. We had a few minor issues that arose and Linda and Abby coordinated quickly to address them. Highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed at Aaron’s place in St. Thomas for five nights, and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The listing was exactly as described—if not better. The view from the property was absolutely stunning and quickly became one of our favorite parts of each day. It set the perfect tone for a relaxing and memorable getaway. The home was spotless upon arrival, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. It was well-appointed with a wide variety of amenities that made our stay feel easy and comfortable—from kitchen essentials to thoughtful extras that added convenience throughout the trip. Everything we needed was either available or clearly outlined in Aaron’s helpful communication. The only very minor issue we encountered was with the restroom door, which was a bit tricky to close quietly and occasionally caused a disturbance at night. That said, it was a small inconvenience in what was otherwise a flawless stay!
