Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue

We stayed at the property as a family of three, including our 18 month old toddler. The hosts could not have been more helpful, setting up a travel cot with clean, fresh linens, a highchair and even a baby bath and bath toys! Upon arrival we were blown away by how responsive the host was when we had a question and delighted to find a big box of toys to keep our little one busy. The house is beautifully decorated with everything you could need. We truly felt at home immediately. This was our first trip away from home as a family and we can't recommend it enough. Parking was super easy (I often worry about tight spaces!), the location was great for exploring the island from and the kitchen has everything you could ever need. The sofa is super comfy, as are the beds. Thank you to the hosts, you truly made our first trip away so smooth and easy. We feel so much more confident in travelling with our little one moving forwards and hope to stay in one of your AirBnB's in the future.

Lovely hosts,very friendly and hospitable. Very attractive appt and gardens.Great location for cycling,Normandy beaches and museums,easy access to historic towns.Only very minor improvement would be some soft lighting in lounge area. 5/5

Maisonnette très fonctionnelle et agréable, dans un endroit très paisible. Un bel aménagement intérieur comme extérieur. Françoise a été très réactive aux messages envoyés et généreuse : nous avons pu entrer dans le logement avant l'horaire règlementaire. Depuis Sottevast, de nombreuses randonnées sont possibles et conseillées d' ailleurs dans la brochure de Françoise. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation et reviendrons. Het is echt een oud huisje maar heel erg knus en gezellig van binnen. Veel aandacht voor details. Direct aan zee, in het dorpje zit een goede bakker, slager en supermarktje. Veel brocantes in de buurt. En natuurlijk de invasiestranden. We hebben de kerstvakantie hier doorgebracht en een heerlijke week gehad.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable chez Jean. La maison est grande, bien équipée et très agréable.Les enfants ont adoré le grand jardin, la balançoire, le trampoline et la table de ping-pong. Jean nous a très bien et gentiment accueilli. Encore un grand merci pour votre accueil!

Beautiful and cosy home. The house is very comfortable, clean, well equipped, and the gardens are stunning. We visited with our 2 teenagers and 1 dog and we spent good quality time as a family in the conservatory in the evenings enjoying the views, listening to music and eating/drinking local produce. There are small markets near by and bigger ones like Carrefour/lidl at 25 mins drive to Saint Lo. The communication with Nadege was great. She'd always reply quickly and was very helpful with our questions. 100% recommended.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis. L'endroit est calme. Le logement possède tous le nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable. L' emplacement est stratégique pour accéder en peu de temps aux différents points touristiques. Merci encore pour l' accueil.

Die Unterkunft eignet sich sehr gut für eine Auszeit am Meer, da nur wenigen Minuten die Dünen und das Meer entfernt sind. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Innenstadt von dem kleine Städtchen ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar, zu Fuß ist es allerdings ein ganzes Stück.

We had a wonderful stay at The Mount. The property was charming, clean, and well-appointed, with incredible views. It served as a great base for discovering the best of Jersey!

Guy and Jocelyne could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The gite is small but charming. It is very peaceful. I appreciated the fresh flowers and lovely bird life right outside the kitchen window. I will definitely return.

L’appartement est un cocoon chaleureux et confortable pour une escapade hivernale 👌🏻 Les petites soirées au coin du feu 🔥, un must ! Si la météo n’est pas favorable aux balades sur la plage toute proche, l’appartement saura offrir tout ce qu’il faut pour ne pas voir le temps passer… Exactement ce que l’on recherchait pour ces vacances de nouvel an avec notre bébé de 8 mois. Superb accommodation! Clean, great location. Loads of utensils etc including tea and coffee, the flat has everything you need. No private parking but parking locally was easy, exactly as Jade had described it. Lots to do within walking distance. I would highly recommend this accommodation for enjoying Jersey!

Très bon séjour dans la maison! Très propre à notre arrivée. La maison est vraimant chouette et bien placée pour les visites.

Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille. Le logement est très bien pensé et très agréable. Nos enfants ont pu profiter pleinement de l'extérieur et des jeux adaptés pour leurs âges. Le Jacuzzi permet de passer de bon moment de relaxation en fin de journée. La jolie bicoque est juste a côté de la plage et de restaurants. Morgane et Maxime sont super réactifs et très sympathiques. Et pour finir, nous avons eu un temps très agréable ! bref c'était top, nous reviendrons.

Notre séjour dans la maison de Colette était parfait! Nous avons pleinement profité du grand jardin à quelques pas de la plage.Merci!

Maison très agréable et très bien équipée. Maison propre et très ensoleillée et proche de la mer. Mise à disposition des vélos très appréciable nous avons pu en profiter pour y rejoindre la plage de Gouville. Merci pour les petites attentions du petit déjeuner jusqu’à la décoration dans les chambres. A recommander les yeux fermés. Encore merci à Gwénola.

Logement très agréable et à proximité immédiate du port de Barfleur ou d'une grande plage. La maison est parfaite pour être en famille ou amis grace à de beaux espaces entre la veranda, le grand séjour et des chambres spacieuses. Le four et le réfrigérateur sont parfois un peu bruyant, mais la cuisine est très bien équipée ! Le jardin est un vrai plus pour des enfants avec beaucoup de jouets à disposition. Nous reviendrons si l'occasion se présente.

Augustin was very approachable and helped when my daughter was poorly. Answered lots of questions before arrival. Lovely, quiet rural area. Pool was a complete winner. Garden large. Lots of space for children to run around. Beaches were always quiet and vast. We liked the local World War II museum, bakery, bicuiterie and beach bar. All about 20 mins walk or drive and find an easy parking space. If you are taking small children (the house has a great cot), I would advise to take a high chair and a stair gate. We did and it was handy to have. A lovely, sunny week in France. Thanks Augustin….

Très belle maison dans un endroit magnifique. Beaucoup de randonnées a faire dans une belle région. La maison est bien équipée et les chambres sont confortables.
