Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

My secluded cottage lies in the countryside of Normandy on a completely private terrain of, 8000m2 with an own driveway. The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.

Constructed from durable and recycled materials, this refuge has been designed to accommodate you for a peaceful stay in a green setting. However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.

For bookings of 3 days or more, bed and bath linens are included and beds are made. Gîte at an equal distance (less than an hour's drive) from Mont Saint Michel and the landing beaches. Pets are allowed except cats.

Dating from the 18th century, this house was known to the whole village and even today many inhabitants remember having spent time there. The renovation focused on the enhancement of natural materials (wood, stone) by adding a modern side.
