We stayed here as part of a tour following a grandfather’s WW1 adventures. Good base for looking at the battle of the Somme and Vimy Ridge. Peaceful location just by the crater the Gîte is named after. Well equipped, lovely warm stove! Thanks.

Perrine was a kind gracious host. She was very responsive to any questions and was flexible in letting us arrive earlier than the check in time after our long haul flight. The property is as described, clean, cosy and has everything you need for a family. The location is peaceful and quiet with parking at the front. Close to all of the battlefields. Definitely recommend staying here to others.

Damian and Pauline's place is great. The accommodation has all the comforts, authentic and very complete. Furthermore, very spacious and in a wonderful environment next to the countryside. For our children from 5-7 years there were games inside, a nice playground outside and there was a nice nice garden. If you walk a bit from the cottage, you will encounter deer, rabbits and various birds. In 10 minutes you are at St- Quentin and at a big supermarket. Furthermore, you can walk, cycle and make various cultural excursions. And if the weather is really bad, you can always swim, bowling or ice skating in "Le Bull". In short, a 4 hour drive from the Netherlands a perfect place for the May holidays!

We stayed there for a weekend with our baby, it was exotic and relaxing. We were warmly welcomed. Bedding and hot tub are top notch. The greenway next to the cottage is perfect for small walks or longer hiking departure. The cottage is well equipped for the most part. We recommend for a relaxing and change of scenery.

We had a great Christmas weekend with the family. 10 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. Since the outside temperature was below zero degrees, there was a small problem with the heating but Eléonore was very responsive and allowed us to warm up quickly. The house is full of charm and each room is decorated with great taste in a vintage spirit. The garden is beautiful, although we could not enjoy it given the winter temperature but we could imagine this same stay in summer, maybe we will come back to it....

We had a fabulous 6-day vacation. Denise welcomed us in a very friendly way. She had already preheated the cottage with the pellet heater so that we already had it warm in this winter weather. Everything was also prepared for our dog. We had everything we needed. The village was very quiet and there were great hiking trails. We spent New Year's there. In summer, it is certainly also very nice there, through the many lake districts. Shopping was quickly reached by car. All in all, we highly recommend Denise's house. We had a wonderful time at ‘le petit maison’. By the way, the house is much bigger than the name and the photos suggest! It has a very large private garden where we enjoyed having breakfast in the sun. It's lovely and quiet, you only hear the birds, a breath of fresh air! We also really enjoyed trips to all kinds of museums (within driving distance), and the brocantes nearby. The house has a nice large kitchen with a good stove and spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. In short, a pearl in Aisne!

What a wonderful stay! The cottage is in a nice quiet spot and although it seems small from the outside, it is surprisingly spacious inside – perfect for 6 to even 8 people. Everything was neatly cared for and tastefully furnished. We were welcomed with tasty chocolates on the table and the beds were really delicious. We could safely park the car in the yard, behind a gate, and communication with the owners went smoothly and pleasantly. Thanks to the shutters, we were able to darken completely at night, so we slept wonderfully. Also convenient: in about an hour and a half drive to Bussy-Saint-Georges for a day in Paris. In short, a nice cottage that we really enjoyed!

Spacious cottage,very well decorated. Comfortable bedding. Super welcoming and available hosts, to the care of the little ones. Flower garden with garden furniture and BBQ. We were with 3 children 1an1/2 .2years old and 4 years old who "cleared"a living room was reserved for them with adapted book games The Chateau,the pond and the forest being nearby, the 3 cars remained in the courtyard. 200 m well-stocked grocery store and bakery . An experience to repeat

Thanks to Arnaud and Valérie for their cottage and especially to Valérie with whom I spoke throughout the stay. No unpleasant surprises: everything in the listing matches the accommodation. Valérie is very friendly and available to answer any questions. She was able to give me useful information. The accommodation is very well located, a small garden, a garage to store your car (it's great), it is located 30 seconds from the city center (yes yes 30 seconds) and 1 minute from the castle (paid visit) where the Cam pond is very pleasant. The Saturday morning market in both squares is nice to do. I highly recommend the accommodation offered by Arnaud and Valérie, ideal for a short trip.

It is a beautiful house with everything on it. Everything you could need was present or nearby. Mathilde is super friendly and responds very quickly. Even when she wasn't reachable, she gave us another contact number if anything came up. When we needed help, someone came right away and helped us with no problems.
