Very quiet location of the accommodation with a room that has everything you need for a short stay. Beautiful pool with fantastic views. Great location for many activities. Céline and Christophe were proactive, friendly, very helpful and gave many tips. The experience could only have been better if Céline and Christophe had been there in person. All in all, we enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend it. Only the public road to the property is in very poor condition with many large potholes that are difficult to see in the dark. This is a danger of driving scratches into the rental car!

Wish we could have stayed longer! Perfect location on the island for access to restaurants by foot in the evening. We are cat people, so having the two around was awesome and relaxing. Recommend having a golf cart or scooter to get up the hill to the place as well as all the others throughout the island. Mosquitoes exist on the island; however there were many measures provided to deter them, so they were manageable. We loved the spot and wish to return!

Marie and Philippe are very welcoming. The accommodation is spacious, clean, maintained and nicely decorated. Walking distance to the beach. We had a lovely stay, everything was perfect!

Accommodation at the foot of the beach (we swam with the turtles in the morning), beautiful terrace with few neighbors. Responsive host for check-in and check-out. Well-equipped interior and exterior accommodation. Air conditioning that works well, good bedding. In the morning, we have breakfast with the hummingbirds and anoles. Be sure to use mosquito repellent or mosquito nets! We had a lovely stay with a well-located accommodation.

Very good stay at Le Charmantillais! Responsive and accommodating host. The accommodation is very well equipped, the fan is more than enough. It is also very well located in Basse-Terre. The environment is nice and the views are stunning!

We spent 5 extraordinary days at Krystèl and Patrick's koumbala . The place is nestled in the middle of the rainforest . The vegetation is lush and stunning . Life is punctuated by bird chirping, and sunsets and sunrises. It's not uncommon to see this beautiful hummingbird who will be your travel companion. And if you're lucky, you might notice the racoon. This break was magical for our family ( 2 adults and two kids) . The place is very clean and maintained . The welcome is warm and our hosts are very available and very attentive . The location is ideal for wandering around the lowland . A huge thank you for this moment of life that lives up to our expectations ( see more ) 🤍

Lita’s tiny house is perfectly located uphill with a great view above palm trees, in the middle of a beautiful garden with a small pool! The kitchen provides everything you’ll need! It’s really easy to enjoy some lazy hours in the hammock on the terrace! Lita’s a very nurturing host! Highly recommended!!!

We stayed from March 30 to April 4, 2025. Our hosts were really friendly and welcoming and very accommodating. The pool is really very pleasant at the end of the day. The listing is as described and very clean. We highly recommend this accommodation also for the proximity of the boat to Les Saintes about 8 minutes by car and also for the whole Basse-Terre side.
