Charming and Inviting: I spent the first week of June at the Little Yellow House, and it was a delightful experience. My first impression was how impeccably clean the cottage was, which was very important to me. The owners have added thoughtful touches throughout the space that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The bed is new and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. While the home is small, it is well-equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay, and its location is perfect for exploring the island. Yvette and Keith were very responsive and friendly, making communication easy during out visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was a close drive to many restaurants and activities in Chéticamp. We had a great hike up to the Gypsum Mines then came back to cook steak that couldn’t be beat on the charcoal grill. There were many cards and games provided that we played all night long. Was a perfect stay for 6 people to experience the beauties of Cape Breton. Had any amenities you could need and a gorgeous view of the hills along the Cabot Trail. Hopefully will be back again!😊

This property is located in a prime vacation area. The Gulf of St. Lawrence is directly in front of you. The mountains are right outside your back door. Every view from EVERY window is green and relaxing. From the living room you can watch travelers driving back and forth on the Cabot Trail. You are moments from joining them. So quiet that I did not need my ear plugs at night. And the night time sky is breathtaking. More stars than I have ever seen in my life. Zero light pollution! Extremely private because it is set back from the highway. It was so nice to have the entire cottage all to myself. It sleeps from one to six people. The full size washer and dryer helped me be completely independent. Large kitchen. I had everything I needed. Surrounded by meadows and farms. Twenty minutes from Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Can you say heaven on earth?

I rarely leave comments like this, but the second floor of this property had so many flies—it was really disturbing and disgusting. There were at least 100 flies flying or dead on the floor and window. On a positive note, the amenities and decorations are lovely, with a charming vintage style. The views, especially at sunset, are breathtaking. Plenty of towels were provided, and the rooms were clean and dust-free. It even provides torch lights, which are perfect for a sunset hike at the Skyline Trail.

Beautiful stay. Right by Chimney Corner, incredible beach. Kitchen had everything you might need, fresh towels, etc! Spotted a curious otter while sipping my morning coffee… what a treat!!! ☺️ if I had more time, I would have tried the sauna! thanks so much

The house is located between the Cabot Trail and the ocean. The view is SPECTACULAR ! The house is lovely inside and out. They really thought of everything you need to enjoy your stay. For example three options to make your coffee ( pods , drip or French press). We did all breakfasts and a couple of dinners at the house . Nice Weber grill on the deck. We were there for four nights in October so enjoyed the beautiful fall colours . We went fly fishing on the Margaree River for salmon for a few days . The Dancing Goat in Margaree is a little gem for lunch. Great food and coffee. We drove along the coast to Cheticamp for a couple of dinners. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Grand Étang! It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our group of four adults. The yard was freshly mowed when we arrived, which made the whole place feel extra welcoming. The kitchen was well-equipped, and while we didn’t use it, it even had a small BBQ on the deck. The location was great—close to restaurants and amenities in Chéticamp. One of our favourite parts was relaxing on the front deck and enjoying the beautiful sunsets each evening. We were all very pleased and would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Another great stay at the Adonai chalet. The snowmobile trails are accessible, and you can sled directly from camp. The chalet was a full house with five adults. Lots of parking perfect for anybody coming with multiple trailers. Chris and his wife are great hosts, you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay, and this is why it’s one of our favourite winter destinations.
