Vacation rentals with a sauna in Saint Croix River

The Snug was the perfect creative and cozy space for a visit to the Twin Cities for a songwriting conference. Douglas went above and beyond every step of the way. The space was meticulously crafted and staged, which made me feel like a VIP in the best way. Everything was perfectly clean, and the sauna was a real showstopper. Honestly, the pictures don’t do the space justice! The space is fully private, but the hosts do live upstairs — that being said, they were so quiet, I could hardly believe they were home until I would hear an occasional footstep overhead. They were so considerate! Douglas did an excellent job of proactively communicating about things that could have caused confusion or frustration for a guest, such as parking, which can be a bit tricky to find if you get in late at night, but his recommendations made it seamless to navigate. Great customer service! I felt so welcome and taken care of — I would definitely stay here again!

I would not hesitate to stay here again! Aaron and Colleen were fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to provide super clear instructions and labeling. They left really nice host treats in the apartment for us. Being there for a week, it was absolutely amazing to have a peloton bike, treadmill, and rower. They also had yoga mats and dumbbells. we felt a little spoiled with the hot tub and sauna as well! All the streaming apps were logged in and ready to go. You will not be lacking for coffee or tea options! They were always super responsive and flexible. Listen up, all of you morning shake or smoothie drinkers, they have a Vitamix blender! If you know, you know. We were able to do laundry, which was really helpful upon returning home. One less thing to do! They made checkout way easier than I’m used to at any Airbnb. I’d advise you bring your slippers because it is a basement apartment and the floors carry a chill! That said, there’s a nice gas fireplace to cozy up with!

This AirBnb was by far the nicest we've had in Minneapolis for a small space suited to minimal needs of a couple. It was as described, beautifully clean, neighborhood felt safe, and everything we needed/used worked without complications! The hosts were extremely responsive and cognizant of our private space (they live upstairs). The kitchen is small, no stove but we knew that and honestly very well supplied for our needs. Thank You so much, we'll be back..

Our family had a lovely stay of Ryan’s place over the new year. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable for our family of five to spend the week in the twin cities. Our children loved all the great board games, picture books and of course hammock. My husband and I loved the peaceful sauna in Ryan’s backyard. Thank you for being such a wonderful host!

Thanks to Mary for making this location such a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday with my husband! Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna.. what a treat to have both! Great views of the river/lake Pepin and soaring eagles. Some restaurants close enough to walk (Homemade Cafe a favorite!). Lots of little extras that make this place special (pictures don’t do all of those justice). Super comfy bed/bedding and plenty of new high end towels; even robes were included! The trains are close, though were not an issue for us. Mary- Thanks for making this a great place to get away!

Great stay! Super convenient location and the apt had everything we needed. A little more extra paperwork/ID verification than I prefer (beyond Airbnb’s) but nothing too bad.

Fantastic stay for 8-12 people! Extremely open space, and lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. My stay involved lots of karaoke, darts, fireside chats, and enjoying coffee on the outside porch overlooking the woods. The space itself is massive, and could easily fit a large group without feeling cramped. I stayed with 7 others and we all loved the place. 10/10 would recommend! My only complaint is the amount of personal belongings that were left by the host. There was a significant amount of food and drinks left in both fridges(one in the kitchen and one in the garage) with little to no instructions on what was the hosts personal food or what was left by past guests. The bar in the garage was also stocked with some drinks and mixers, but again there were no instructions on if they were there for guests or not. A few more details about the rules could have been nice, but that is just one small complaint against so many positive features this stay has to offer!

We have never been glamping before, was a very unique experience! Would definitely do it again!

Jeremy had great communication and was responsive to questions. This location worked out perfectly for a family event in West St. Paul and a stop at the Wabasha Brewery was also a bonus.

Had a great stay, easy to get settled in right away. Nice and clean, loved the fire place and extra blankets to use on those chilly nights. We had a little trouble with the sauna and they sent maintance come out that day and address. They were able to fix it and we great appreciated that. Was very nice stay visiting our family and friends in the area.

The house was so beautiful and once we walked in the door it felt like home. The property was just amazing and the neighborhood was so quiet. The backyard was an oasis! Each room was decorated beautifully. We booked the trip to celebrate my grandson’s Baptism and Tom and Rachel were so sweet and bought a beautiful gift. They also made delicious kombucha which we finished during our stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well and all the bathrooms were so beautiful….Especially the master. Everything was so neat and clean. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. It was just a great stay! Thank you Tom and Rachel for allowing us in your beautiful home! We hope to come again soon as we have family in the area! Many blessings

This is one of the best Airbnbs where we have stayed. This old farmhouse has been well updated, the other buildings are lovely, and the sauna was very enjoyable. Lots of room in the house, great well supplied kitchen, too.

Jenna's place was the perfect weekend get-a-way! The location was unbeatable and the house was charming and serene. We loved the sauna and the hiking trails out back - we will definitely plan to return again! Jenna was a communicative and organized host - highly recommend!

We had a fantastic, peaceful stay. The place was gorgeous, and with a very well equipped kitchen for cooking. Our host was super responsive, he even let us know where to see a fox den and some cubs on the property, which delighted our daughter. The house itself was comfortable, well appointed, and with no detailed overlooked. We would definitely stay again!
