Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Saimaa

The house is simply unique. The view of the lake is breathtaking and it is great that you are right in the forest. Incredibly beautiful. We felt super comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. Kari is very accommodating and even organized a child's life jacket for our daughter at short notice. Thank you! The hot tub and sauna are in top condition and the kitchen is very well furnished. All in all, it was a great, relaxing vacation for us and we didn't miss anything.

Excellent place, greatly decorated and clean, make you feel at home straight away. The view and location is breathtaking. a piece of heaven. great for family and friends. ..the best Sauna experience that I had in Finland so far.

Very cozy, clean , quiet and with beautiful surroundings

We spent 5 nights at Erik‘s place and it simpley was an amazing time. If you want to enjoy nature and take a break from hectic every day life, this is the right place to go! Also the outdoor sauna was a very cool experience :) 10/10 would recommend!

Highly responsive, welcoming and friendly host. The house is spotless and well equipped.

The apartment was really clean and cozy. The sauna was good and the fire created the atmosphere on the deck. Walked to the beach in a few minutes and to the city center on an electric board for about 8 minutes. The host provided good and clear instructions on everything 5/5👍

We spent a nice two days at the property, very suitable for nature movers. The place was clean and very peaceful. Services are a short drive away.

I stayed several weeks and I'm very satisfied: the apartment was clean and tidy, in a quiet location near the center, and for example, the intermediate cleaning was done flexibly and well. Pekka took good care of the guest, responded quickly, and asked to let me know if there were any flaws-it wasn't. I'd love to come back to this if I need a place to stay in Mikkeli.

If you are looking for a quiet place, I would highly recommend Eija's place! Eija is super nice and always responded to my requests and curiosity. The house has a big yard and closes to a lake where you can go cross-country skiing in winter. The room is cozy and includes own kitchen and bathroom. Several big supermarkets and a secondhand store are within walkable distance. A trip to Jyväskylä city centre is also not difficult by bus, it takes around 45 minutes with beautiful scenery on the way.

Peaceful stay. Perhaps it looked a bit more remote in the pictures than it actually is, since there was a small road right behind the cottage. Otherwise, everything was as promised.

We had a great night in this fantastic house by the sea. A lot of space and pleasantly quiet. The sauna and direct access to the sea are especially great.

The home was perfect for a two-person break from everyday life in the midst of stunning nature. All the advance info and introduction photos gave a great idea of what was to be expected. Once we got there, the first experience exceeded all of our predictions positively. The landscape of windows the size of a full wall is like a rotating painting. It's nice to sit on the expansive patios, and then spend more time on the summer weather, even if you're grilling. The special luxury of this place is an unparalleled sauna. Its soft steam is easy for longer periods of time. The buildings on the property (cottage, sauna, lean-to) are nicely set up each little apart from each other, so they all have their own atmosphere and view. It's a great place!

The cottage was clean and easy to find. The cottage found all the amenities that included a nice addition to the weekend.

Joonas's place was excellent. We loved the sauna the very most. The lake view was stunning and we were in total privacy. Would recommend to anyone.

We spent the weekend with our child and children. The cottage was just as described and thus the right fit for our needs, our small grandchildren were well cared for. Clean and peaceful place with good steam in the sauna😊
