We stayed one night in this cozy little cottage – me, my wife, our daughter and two little grandchildren. The house was very clean, comfortable and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our stay in the small bakery for two with our dogs. The cottage is really well prepared and equipped. Above all, we used the bathtub and the outdoor sauna for relaxation. The sauna is heated with a wood-burning stove. Firewood, lighters and larger logs are available for this purpose. The kitchen is superbly equipped and the living room in the attic is very comfortably designed. Larger dogs can hardly make it up, as the narrow space-saving staircase is very steep. The small bedroom under the roof was nice and clean and very cozy, we slept great in the beautiful box spring bed under the skylight overlooking the stars. Lukas, the host, was always available and very helpful. In nearby Schönecken there is a small Edeka, a few restaurants and a delicious bakery for breakfast baked goods. Otherwise, you can eat well in Prüm or Bitburg. We will be happy to come back!

My wife and I were there a total of 5 days. What else should we say? It was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back. A very big thank you for the wonderful time. Thimo is an interesting and likeable person who not only helped to create a relaxing vacation, but also inspired one for their own future. Best wishes to all! :-)

Manuel is a really great and friendly host, quickly responds in different times of the day. The place is super super clean and tidy, all the amenities are as described and well maintained. The kitchen was clean and had a lot of cooking utensils for almost any dish you wish to make. I really appreciate the effort he put in the house and its rooms and toilets, specially the small details. I will always recommend this place for a retreat if anyone is visiting Germany, the area is well served too. If im visiting back, honestly i wont check other options, i will directly contact Manuel and book the same house.

Very nice little house, clean accommodation and the owners are attentive. They made enough accessories available to make sure to take care of their guest. Quiet neighborhood. Close to shops.

Isabelle & Vincent are very friendly and helpful hosts. The house is spacious, comfortable, super clean and equipped with every comfort. Good bed with nice sheets and towels. Beautiful surroundings in the woods, excellent location for day trips such as to Luxembourg City, Reims and the Champagne region. We had a wonderful week. Very good experience and we'd love to come back!

It's central without being central. 10 minutes to the cathedral and the market. Right around the corner is 2moiselles, a restaurant listed in the Gault-Millau since 2025. Sophie and Philippe were very proactive and responded quickly to our questions! Thank you for everything! Kind regards

Our very short stay (with very gloomy weather) did not allow us to fully enjoy the surrounding activities and the beautiful garden of our hosts. We had a lovely time at Gillou and Emilie's place which matches the description and photos perfectly. We highly recommend it. One detail: stairs that are not easy (to consider with children or for older people).
