If you have a budding paleontologist, the Fossil Discovery Museum is an awesome place to check out. They have a full Columbian Mammoth on display that gets gasps every time. Kids can even look for their own fossils.

It’s an awesome, small ski resort (one of the first in the country). The lodge is great, with decent food, and cozy places to chill if you want a break from the slopes. Their Badger Pup program is really great for children. Reasonably priced.
