Everything Else

Very close (behind our building) with really great restaurants, bars and an 80s club (not always great events but, hey, it's right here) and an awesome pool w/ bar access. I go there to treat myself.

You like to see a less flashy Dubai, that's where you need to be. You'll see some heritage and culture. Most of all, you'll see real life. Recommended to go with someone who knows the place.

You're going there of course, since you'd like to see the Burj and blah blah :P Make sure you walk around the whole area, visit things around, don't just go to the mall, it's boring :P.

You have to visit the dolphins, a little pricey, but fun none the less. There's also a waterpark there as well as Nassimi beach and other night activities.

Arts & Culture

Right opposite the building, has nice 'ladies night' events on Tuesdays, nice crowd, you can meet a lot of people there. A little posh, you can dress to impress, but not too pricey.

Food Scene

It's a fancy-ish public beach. Only because its actually a mall, haha. It has really good restaurants, shops and has a cinema at the heart of it. Also has a running track, some exercising equipment...

This is more of a hipster spot. Most people go there to tan and do beach activities. It's a quirky public beach, with quirky restaurants and shops. Watch out for the six packs and the hotties.

My favourite sliders spot. It's a place with three main types of sliders. Their chicken slider is my favourite, since it has cheetos as a main ingredient :D. And the pink lemonade is great.

My favourite brunch in Vida Hotel. Book in advance. It's a modern picnic brunch, grab a basket, place bottle of wine, jars of salad and wait for the main course to reach your pool cabana. Excellent.
