Santini is a mythical ice-cream shop that has been open for decades. Stopping there for an ice cream is a must. Don't ask for chocolate and vanilla, be creative!

Well-known for seafood with a nice terrace! Careful when ordering off-menu or going with suggestions from staff ... always ask for the price first to avoid surprizes!

This is a market that has been revamped to include several stores and eateries. My favourites are Marisco na Praça, which specialises in fish and shellfish, Italian restaurant Gulli, which is great for kids, Pátio do Petisco, where you can split some snacks, and Grão d’Amor, which has toasted sandwiches, salads and the like.

Probably the best beach near Cascais! Beware of currents and waves, the Atlantic ocean is in full-force here! Also, the beach is very windy, and perfect for wind-surf and kite-surf!

Drinks & Nightlife

This roof-top is ideal for a sunset drink. On a curious note ... the apartment used to have a stunning view over the bay ... until this hotel was built and cut most of the sea-view. But that was a long-time ago, and there are no hard-feelings. Go in and enjoy a drink!
