Never tried Virtual Reality? House of VR is an awesome place to go for some fun, and immerse yourself into a world of VR. Highly recommend playing Beat Saber (kind of like guitar hero with lightsabers)

Rec Room is kind of like an adult Chuck E. Cheese. It's a restaurant/arcade with lots of fun arcade and carnival games. I think bringing kids here should be fine, it's more of a restaurant/arcade.

Massive park in the middle of downtown Toronto (a bit like Toronto's Central Park). Accessible via the Toronto Subway line (High Park Station on the Green Line), or just grab an Uber if you want to save some time). They have great trails, dog parks, and a petting zoo. A great place to go for a walk, smell the beautiful flowers and trees, grab some great brunch while sitting outside in the middle of the park at the Grenadier Restaurant.
