Home to startup businesses La Granada Latin Kitchen, Pig & Turnip, and 100 Mile Bakery - conveniently located with excellent food and drink, outdoor seating, and friendly people. Highly recommended! Also, *new* they've converted an old chapel into a tap house. A little blasphemous, maybe, but a fun environment.

Just a few blocks away in downtown Springfield, The Washburne Cafe has the best coffee in Springfield in my opinion (and I'm picky about my coffee!). This shop was purchased by longtime friends a few years ago and they've done a marvelous job updating the atmosphere and improving the coffee and food offerings. Their Ethiopian daily drip is exotic and delicious, and the Pork Baguette sandwich is mouthwatering bliss--my favorite lunch in all of Eugene and Springfield.
