Griniaris= grumpy is a little lovely restaurant with special seafood dishes mezes(little dishes). The owner the supposed grumpy guy is a typical greek old guy with a big moustache, . Ask to meet him even for a minute.
Don't forget to order ouzo, the best friend of seafood!

An excellent choice for cakes and sweets. A bit more unique than the ordinary bakery in the neighborhood. There are some tables also to sit outside.

Koukos is one of my favorite places for coffee a sandwich and of course a nice greek night with red wine and traditional dishes. Traditional, that is the word that describes best this place .Don't miss it when you are downtown.

The ancient stadium and Acropolis are free entrance sightseeings ideal for walks, jogging and pick nicks. Five minutes further up is Monte Smith hill, where you can enjoy long walks with sea and sunset vistas. There are some remainings of Zeus and Athinas temples and if you are an adventurer you might find the cave church of Saint Nickola or the Nimfhaeum cave...

A must for visting. From this place many cultures have passed and appreciated the natural spa springs. Even the classic movie The Guns of Navarone had had some scenes from that place. Go there for swimming, there is a nice restaurant ( great pizzas) . My suggestion, go after 3 o clock so, it won't be too crowded and if you stay long enough you'll see how beautiful it becomes with their lighting. There is a small fee.

Getting Around
This station is one of the five in Rhodes town. Paying is simple and you just need a credid card. The philosophy is that you can cycle for a couple of hours for free and park it in one of its station. If you want more there is a tiny extra cost

Try it even the mornings for their nice omelets and pancakes. And if you know swing get the owner to dance with you, we did dance classes together . Oh and try some of their interesting cocktails. Pure rockabilly style.

The castle is located near the village of Monolithos at the summit of the tall, craggy rock, dominating the view. It’s a bit far from the main tourist attractions of Rhodes to reach, but it’s totally worth it! You can drive to the foot of the cliff, park your car at a convenient spot, and follow the narrow little steps all the way up until you reach the summit. Be careful not to slip on the smooth stones.
he site is open all day and has no entry fee. There is a café opposite the entrance for a much-needed drink or snack. Take your time with the steps to reach the castle … plenty of places to stop to catch your breath, enjoy the flowers and take a photo or two.

It’s a bit far from the main tourist attractions of Rhodes to reach, but it’s totally worth it! You can drive to the foot of the cliff, park your car at a convenient spot, and follow the narrow little steps all the way up until you reach the summit. Be careful not to slip on the smooth stones.
