most tourists haven't visited this gem... OMG the pasta is amazing! BOOK early, as she is always full and rarely takes walk ins. Owner/chef Lisa was the private chef for Depp, Bloom, Rush and the rest of the leads on Pirates of the Caribbean. .. she's pretty talented and really cool.

Sightseeing

the "Boardwalk" doesn't show up on this list... so I selected the marina as it is in the middle and has a nice public pier for photos and to sit, relax and watch the boats go by. This lakeside boardwalk is located downtown and is close to the cottage and runs under the bridge on one end, and takes you to a beautiful bird sanctuary on the other. Great for wildlife viewing and bird watching. You might see the local beavers as well.

This historic railway is world famous and should not be missed. There are 12 trestles and 2 tunnels. You can walk it as its a n easy, flat walk but the best way to see the Myra Canyon is via bike as its quicker and you can see more. Recommend taking a bike up there or you can rent them on site for a bit more $$>
