Aquatic Center, public Tennis courts, great running path, soccer, softball, basketball fields. Or just amazing large green space for picnic, enjoying the shade or the sun. I love this park!

Within minutes you literally drop into a canyon that makes you wonder if you are really in the middle of a major city. Only 20 mins from my place, closest hike paths, man made lake, stunning views.

Avid hikers can get a full day hike in here and others just a brisk walk and amazing views of the Valley. Good for trail biking as well and viewing stars at night.

If you avoid the paved trail and venture into the side paths, you will have a real chance to connect with nature. The paved path offers good views of the city. Connects to a larger park system.

An amazing historic landmark that has theatre and other arts performances. This is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in LA with lots of clubs and restaurants, but this place, is the arts gem IMO.

This place is very accessible from my place and I recommend using the streets, not the freeway to get there, preferably on the bus. The exhibits and performances are eclectic. Close to the Getty.
