It's a new established local bakery but people say there aren't better bread rolls in town. Watching the bakers work on your next loaf of bread makes the neverending queuing surprisingly fun. The local hit is a slice of bread with egg spread for 25 Kc :)

As you walk along the river, the only thing to complete happiness is a real ice-cream. The one here is made from fresh ingredients by real Italian gelato-expert.

My favourite "all you can eat restaurant" - don't fill up your stomac too early with simple sausages...the best will come later :) Rodizio is a way of serving meat whereby the „passadores de carne“ slice the meat off the skewers directly onto your plate. You will also find a paper circle on your table. Turning the green side up sends a signal saying "Fill my plate!"

Sightseeing

The Charles Bridge is decorated with 30 mostly Baroque statues, which have all been replaced by replicas. It was recently restored, but this time they didn't use tons of eggs to strengthen it as they did in the 14th century. Painters and jewellers sell their work there, even in winter when it's freezing. There are hundreds of visitors all day long, so if you want to enjoy the views and take some pictures, come in the morning.
