A 22 hectares (54 acres) enclosed woodland area in the northern parts of the Marselisborg Forests where deer roam around freely. You can easily hand feed the deer. They prefer apples and stale bread.

Founded in 1313 by the Danish king Erik Menved, as one of at least four similar strongholds in Jutland. One of my favourite places. Pet the free range cows there and enjoy an ice cream in the sun.

A great place for a day out of town. Beautiful countryside, where you can buy delicious locally grown fruit and vegetables from small booths along the road. The island is 100% powered by wind power.
