Sightseeing

This is a Napoleonic Fort on the hills above Croix du Pape and Eze. It has amazing 360 degree views of the Mediterannean and the Alps. I reviewed it on TripAdvisor. Great for walkers.

Tourists flock to Eze to wander the streets of this Mediaeval village and to visit the Fragonard and Galimard Parfumeries. Its a bit of a steep walk, so be sure that's ok for you.

Getting Around

This is just about getting to Croix du Pape from Nice. For the airport you will have to find connecting services. The 82 Bus goes west from Plateau de la Justice near the Hermitage hotel on the Grand Corniche via Eze to east Nice and the Vauban bus terminus. The 83 Bus goes from the Plateau de la Justice to Ewe and east towards Monaco and other centres. You can take the 100 Bus along the coast between the two cities. The 112 Bus from Nice also stops at Eze on the Moyenne (middle) Corniche ... you have to get off there and walk up to the Auberge de la Croix du Pape on the Grand Corniche, but it is a steep walk in parts. Geoff Milner will advise you if you need to use public transport.

Arts & Culture

There are so many art galleries and it is a great place to walk around. This is west of Nice, I always take friends there.
