There is a beatiful walking path from Norderport (north gate) to Galgberget and beyond. Large parts of it runs through a small forest with birds and magical trees. It is sometimes called Kärleksstigen, or "The love path". Or just Hälsans stig which means "The path of health." If you are interested you can join me when I walk my dog and I will show you. It is a bit hidden.

Splendid view of the sea, excellent for morning walks and sunset picnics. Very romantic. This spot is not ideal for swimming because the water is very shallow and there may be sharp objects - instead there is a beach just down the street from the library, with a pier. There is also a beach called Norderstrand up north, 10 minutes from Strandporten.

The best library in the world (according to me). Big glass building with a foyer café with a view of Almedalen. They usually serve a vegan sandwich. You can find many cultural events and activities here for all ages, just ask in the reception what events are on.
