Either at sunrise or sunset the views are amazing. 1.5km walk going up 160m, takes about 1/2 hr, take up a wine and watch the sunset. A must do whilst staying in Port /stephens

The Marine Park allows you to walk directly into either Fly Point or Halifax and go snorkeling or diving. Just bring or gear or you can hire and go to Kmart and buy yourself a set.

Great surf beach in winter there is a Whale watching platform. Walk around to the spit, just be careful you need to understand the tides before you walk over the spit.
