Featured in Harry Styles video, Stardust and Transformers, the Old Man of Storr is still somewhat of a 'secret spot' as most people will chose to visit our other natural attractions. There are two routes, so good for a walk or a scramble!

Beautiful village to wander around. Boat trips available and plenty of places for great seafood and a drink. There is a 'secret spot' walk here which we are happy to fill you in on! The iconic police drama Hamish MacBeth was filmed in Plockton. and it's a favourite spot of Gerald Butlers!

Applecross is a beautiful wee fishing village which is famously accessed via the Bealach Na Ba (cattle pass). This is an incredible mountain pass - not for the faint hearted! once you get to the top there is a great viewing point which is worth the stop. You are well rewarded when 'come out the other side' as the Inn does fantastic food and beer, and we are also partial to the food at the Walled Garden!

For the under 12's - The Dinosaur soft play area is one of our favourite places to go when we're at a loose end or fancy a day out. The cafe/restaurant also does decent food and caters well for children. Plenty of souvenirs in the shop too, as well as an impressive book shop. They also have a cinema

Skye's oldest distillery. located in Carbost, it is in a beautiful and sometimes dramatic setting when the weather is bad. Staff are really friendly and it's a very well informed tour. There is a really good coffee shop across the road, and the Old Inn in Carbost is fantastic for lunch, and some live music in an evening. If you like seafood, there is also an Oyster bar near the distillery.
