The market began trading in 1904, now over 300 stalls are lining both sides of the Albert Cuyp street in the neighbourhood of De Pijp. Stalls sell everything from fruit, vegetables, clothing etc.
For a great choice of fresh bread; check out the Vlaamsch Broodhuys. Get a lovely sandwich to take away, buy some bread rolls. Don't forget to try the cakes.. You will be back for more!
