Food scene

This is one of our go to’s! It’s a unique blend of Korean and Mexican food and the Cali burrito (with Habanero sauce I’d you can handle the spice) is def the go to!

The best bakery and breakfast spot in the hood. The chocolate eclairs, morning bun, and Gruyère pretzel bomb (ask for it heated) are all bomb. Also recommend their home fries and avocado toast!

One of the most iconic Oakland restaurants. Great for big groups and it’s cool bc it’s an old car dealership expertly converted into a beautiful courtyard with trees and fireplaces. Try the beer and fontina cheese pizza pie. Both are amazing.

Getting around

Bart is the best way to get around, esp to SF & Berkeley

The Bart platform is just 3 mins door to door, making Bart one of the best ways to get around. Get a clipper card and keep reloading it via the app as you need. Recommend going to the real time departures website for the most up to date timing information. Remember Bart doesn’t go too late like other cities, with the final Bart being around or before midnight.
