Just seeing the gardens out front will impress you. Lots of tasting inside, a cooking school, simple restaurant with A+ food, gifts, etc. (And the owners live across the street from me, in the big white house just a few doors down.)

Restaurants

So So many good ones, where do I begin?
This is the restaurant group down the street, at the KP town wharf. The Bistro is their primary dining spot but has no view of the water. Great in winter, but in summer I recommend casual dining down at The Wharf, waterside, or go all the way upstairs to the Ski Club Bar (waterskiing) for spectacular views and deck dining in nice weather.

In my opinion the best all-round place, but it will cost you $20 to park unless you go early with the dog walkers. YOu will get sandy beaches at low tide, smooth rocky beaches at high tide, grassy spots to sit, a playground, pavilion, picnic tables, walking trails, gorgeous sunsets, grills, up-close lighthouse views, old forts and history, etc.
