Pebbly beach but at low tide there is a beautiful sandy stretch outside the old Burlington hotel on the Promenade. This little seaside town is up and coming, it even has its own little theatre. Check out Stubbys Pizza, No 10 (great food), the Whelk cafe, Guac'n'mole, Grey Seal Coffee and loads of chippies and ice cream shops (we love Ronaldos).

Beautiful nature reserve teaming with birds and wildlife. It has a nice cafe and both indoor and outdoor play areas for children that are really fantastic, check out Hoots House.

Lovely walks and close too Holt. There is a little hut where you can buy refreshments. You can sometimes spot the wild ponies that roam free in the country park, often in the open areas covered in Gorse.

Brilliant place to explore for children. There's a boat ride into the swamp and a trail through the undergrowth where you can spot little doors and houses. Lots of play equipment and in the holidays there are often other activities too. A great day out.
