Stroll through the beautiful mature forests on one of the many trails in Crescent Park. Crescent Park is a large 52 hectare (128 acre) destination park in South Surrey. The Park offers walking trails through mature second growth forests, with ponds, streams and lots of secret meadows to discover. There are a couple of great kids play grounds in the park as well. And just added and now open is 8 brand new pickle ball courts

It's a steep but beautiful walk down to the beach at this great waterfront park. As soon as you get on the stairs, you can see and hear the waves lapping at the beach down below.

Although there are not really 1001 steps, there are a lot! The top of the steps is located at the western most point of 15A Avenue, off 126A Street. From there, the zigzag of steps takes you down 40 metres to a pathway that parallels the Burlington North rail line. About 200 metres along the trail you'll find an underpass that provides access to the beach. The pathway and steps offer amazing ocean views, with opportunities for viewing harbour seals and other wildlife.
