The closest metro station. Note that there's just one metro line though, so it doesn't take you everywhere :D But it's a quick way to get to e.g. Kamppi in the centre. *** CITY BIKE RENTAL At the metro station there is one of the closest city bike rental stations. Great way to get around and see a lot. Register for a daily or weekly pass and read more at https://www.hsl.fi/en/citybikes

There's a newly opened bridge to this beautiful, peaceful island from Kalasatama. Nice for a walk or run, or for swimming! Feels like you're out of the city.

Another sauna! I haven't had a chance to visit, only discovered this lately. But by pictures I'd say it's my favourite and it seems to get brilliant ratings, 5/5! Super cozy and traditional, also available for private bookings. http://www.punsseli.fi/kaurilas-sauna

One of the coolest public saunas. Not one of the traditional ones, this one was built in the 2000s and it's modern style, designed by Finnish-Japanease architect couple. Special emphasis on environmental friendliness. A bit on the pricey side, but it's intimate, cozy and you get to swim in the ocean if you like! The name Kulttuurisauna refers to a vision of architect Alvar Aalto. The people there can tell you more :)
