Local activities

Water sports such as Paddleboarding and kayaking are popular on the estuary at Topsham, Exeter canal, or Exmouth beach (hire outlets in Exmouth and Exeter Quay). Small ferry trips are available from Topsham (nature cruises and pub trips) and there are larger day trip cruises from Exmouth. There is a wonderful cycle trail from Topsham along the estuary to Exmouth & beyond (45 mins) or into Exeter Quay (30mins) - or stop at a pub along the way! normal / electric bike hire is available at Route 2 cafe in Topsham. Mountain bike trails available at Haldon Forest. Horse riding stables nearby.
