North las vegas is a gem, i truly love it. It's peaceful and relaxing. Being away from the strip things are much cheaper for example, essentials, grocery, liquor, fast food etc. Also, I love being away from the action so that I can actually enjoy my friends/family company. In my neighborhood if you do see your neighbor, you're luck. I'll like to think everyone is busy minding their own business. It's rare you'll see anyone walking the streets. However, not because it's quite means it's okay to let your guard down. Crazy things happen even in the so called safest neighborhood. Anywhere you should go North, South, East or West be attentive, be smart and stay safe.

Rent a car or use Uber/ lyft
Move at your own speed. If you're planning on being out drinkin and partying take an Uber, lyft or taxi to be safe.
What to pack
Comfortable shoes, heels for ladies and slides
Wear comfortable shoes to walk the strip. Get dressed up for dinner (comfortable heels ladies) and lounge. (men NO tennis shoes and button down shirt a MUST most places)Don't forget your swimsuit, the pool is heated. Pool parties on the strip are crazy from March to Sep!
