The shitamachi of Tokyo. Most areas in Tokyo are ever evolving and fast pace. Shibamata is all about nostalgic Showa period and keeping its laid back charm from the old days. Just spend a few hours, although I would recommend a day, to enjoy the retro feel of Tokyo in here. Try the local snacks and visit Taishakuten Temple.
