A quiet residential area and close to the beautiful Hove park which has tennis courts, new play area, miniature railway (runs on certain days), cafe, climbing rock. Parking in Mill Drive is free, some of the roads have a restrictions.
Great links to A23 and A27 which is minutes away from the house.
For supermarkets you have Waitrose and Lidl then also Tesco, ASDA (Hollingbury or the Marina), Sainsbury all within a short drive.

Nice restaurant to visit although book ahead if you can. Inside there's three separate areas, the terrace is pricey and small plates so you may still be hungry when you leave!
If you can't get in then enjoy a drink on the boardwalk out front.

Lovely restaurant in Hove, book ahead if you can. Especially nice for brunch! You can pay and park outside on the street. Seafront is just at the bottom of the road so you can walk off your food :-)

Street Mexican Food. You can't book and it does get busy on weekends. Usually they will take your number and they will ring you when your table as ready so you can stroll around the North Laines or pop into a local pub. Very reasonably priced.

My fav place in Brighton. Forget the high street and chain shops, go to the North Laines for a load of quirky shops, funky people, and great places to eat and drink. You will also find a Wagamama, Fatto a Mano, Si Sinore, Franco Manca Pizza.

Getting around
Parking in Brighton is expensive and traffic is busy.
If you can leave your car and take an Uber. The bus is around £2.50 one way so if there's a few of you a taxi is cheaper.
