Just five minutes from our farm, the Town of McKenna offers Jim Bob's Chuckwagon restaurant for delicious hometown food and Stewart's Meat Market, known for their jerky. There is a local park which provides access to the Nisqually River for those that want to fish, swim, or inner tube.

Less than two hours from here, drive up to Johnston Ridge Observatory on Mt. Saint Helens. Not only are there beautiful views but you can see how the land has rebuilt itself after the 1980 eruption, as well as the geological and human story.
