Hiking the Y is a must in Provo. It is about a 2 mile hike to the Y on the mountain, is steep and has 13 turns. Go early in the day, especially in the summer, and plan to be down before dark.

Just a 15 minute drive from our house, Utah Lake has nice views and pavillions, as well as opportunities for boating as well as the Bonnevile School of Sailing. Try to avoid the evening when there are more bugs out.
