Might be my favorite deli in any city and I'm from NY. The sandwiches aren't cheap, but they're worth it. Honestly, if you have a midday or evening flight, grab a sandwich to go.

One of the few restaurants that's been here forever. The chef is a staple in Denver food scenes and Lola's coastal Mexican offering is amazing for both brunch and dinner. Note: This is not a typical Mexican taco joint. If you want that, head to Patzcuaros.

Denver does Mexican damn well and Patzcuaro's is one of my favorites. There is no frills here—it's a great little place, but it's not a lengthy meal. Their tacos, enchiladas, etc. you can't beat 'em.

If you like Momofuku, you'll love Uncle. It's sometimes accused of even stealing the menu, ha! Regardless, there are long lines, so come early or order for pick up. Great for cold nights!

Denver's best Speakeasy and actually, one of the nation's top rated. Not the easiest to get into, walk over early and drop your name for a reservation, but this place rivals NYC's Dead Rabbit or PDT, as well as anything you'll find in Portland or Seattle. For those who love a great cocktail.

Getting Around

Not only is this a great place for night life, with some great restaurants, shopping and bars, but they also run trains to and from the airport. Look online for a schedule, but it's definitely the cheapest option and also most convenient.
