Pankhurst Wines was established by our neighbours Allan and Christine Pankhurst in 1986. They produce high quality award winning wines using only grapes grown in their vineyard. The underlying soils are made up of weathered granite that came from a volcanic arc that formed the Brindabella mountains over 400 million years ago. Allan and Christine have a range of whites and reds on offer. Two of our favourites are the Pinot Noir and Tempranillo. Their dessert style Semillon is also well worth tasting. The vineyard is a comfortable 15 minute walk with stunning views of the mountains and of the northern slopes of the “Old Woodgrove” property.

Food

A slice of Hall’s good ol’ fashioned country charm — served with a smile in a 126 years young, general-store-turned-café. Fantastic home cooked treats using the freshest, locally farmed ingredients.
