This is the nearest decent pizza place, if you like soft bases and crusts stuffed with cheese (cheddar or catupiry). It's not far round the corner at the end of our road turning left out of the front door. Di Roma usually offers a good value promotion for a giant-sized pizza, a small sweet pizza, and a bottle of fizzy drink. Their 4 cheese and broccoli marinated in garlic flavours are particularly good.

This is very close at the end of our road, turning right out of the front door. Their sandwiches are excellent, and good value given that they are big enough to make for a filling meal.

Their butcher is cheaper than Jardim, and the chicken particularly is better quality. They often have promotions for fruit and vegetables on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and for meat on Thursdays and Fridays.
