This historic site and abandoned amphitheatre has been preserved since the 7th century, as a major part of British living.
It also has one of the best examples of Roman walls in the country.
The charity English Heritage run and maintain the site making access free for all, although you are able to donate if you wish to.
Opening times are based on the seasons, with it being open from 8am and 7pm during April to September 30 and open from 8.30am to 4pm from October 1 until March 29.
