They have a larger selection that the 2 grocery stores in town and the food is a lot cheaper. Best ice cream on the lake! Consider ordering a smaller size than normal as a small is 2 scoops and a large is so big they give you a cup to go with your cone. The local secret is they have a kiddie size (1 scoop). Their scoops are also HUGE!

Museums

Learn all about the animals in the area. This place is very kid friendly. They have a scavenger hunt with prizes if you finish. They also have classes for kids. The boat launch is also right next to their dock. Since it’s 12 houses from the house it’s easy to get to (walk, drive, boat, kayak) and a perfect place to check out if you arrive early.

They have actual tanks and cars from World War 2. Once a summer (at the beginning of August) they have family day where you get to ride the vehicles around town. They also host movie nights. Check them out! The owners son thinks this is the best WW2 museum - do you agree?
