Expertly prepared Neapolitan-style pizzas are Bar del Corso's specialty. Their sides and salads are also amazing, such as tonno del chianti (pork shoulder slowly braised in olive oil) and grilled octopus with corona beans. One of my favorite restaurants in all of Seattle. Accommodating to vegan/vegetarians.

A wonderful park that eventually leads to floating docks right before Lake Washington turns into Lake Union. You can rent canoes in the area (check out Agua Verde Paddle Club) and there’s a beautiful scenic place to paddle through the park. Seattle is called the emerald city for a reason and you would be remiss for not checking out one of its many lush and gorgeous parks from spring to fall - this one in particular is a fantastic option.

I recommend taking a ferry to get to West Seattle from downtown if you're on foot. From there, you can walk the waterfront and check out Alki Beach. On a warm summer day into the evening, everybody is out—enjoying the beach, having a drink at one of the many beachside bars and restaurants, rollerblading. California vibes in Seattle. (I recommend getting some tacos at Chupacabra and making a fire on the beach—but get there early, it's first come first serve for fire pits.)

The densest neighborhood in Seattle. Plenty of amazing restaurants, bars and shops. Visit Volunteer Park and walk through the beautiful neighborhoods. Visit Bruce Lee’s gravesite nearby. Also visit Elliott Bay Books, one of our largest and best bookstores. There are too many great food options to list, you can’t go wrong with most in this neighborhood. North Capitol Hill is a bit a quieter, especially on the weekends when partiers flock to the Pike/Pine area to go to the many bars. If that isn’t feeling like your scene, I recommend spending the evening at a quiet table at Sol Liquor or a table at Bait Shop.

The University of Washington gives this neighborhood its namesake. The University campus is beautiful and well worth walking through. In the spring, the quad is famous for the many blossoming cherry trees. Otherwise, this neighborhood is great for food and some nice shops (I recommend stopping at Than Brothers for a bowl of Pho). On Saturdays there is a large farmers market that takes up the central avenue ("The Ave").
