Great day trips out not too far from Melksham
Caen Hill Locks is one of the longest continuous flight of locks in the country. It is worth a stroll, and has a lovely little cafe where you can get a takeaway coffee or ice cream as you explore and watch the canal boats pass. It is located in Devizes which is roughly a 10 minute drive away.
