I love this Italian restaurant. Don't need to see the menu, just order a burrata for starters and tagliolini al parmigiano as a main course. The pasta is prepared and served in a big parmesan cheese! What else do you need? I think other dishes are also fine, but I never tried them.

Many locals go here for breakfast, lunch or diner. The terrace is beautiful, but if you have typical Dutch rainy weather it's also very nice to sit inside the large restaurant.

Take the bike on a sunny day and cycle to Durgerdam. Take the ferry at Amsterdam central station to Noord and have a nice ride along the IJ river. Durgerdam is a typical old Dutch little village and a great place to escape the chaos of the city.

Take the ferry to NDSM-werf to see the old shipyard of Amsterdam. It is transformed into a creative place with a few restaurants and awesome graffiti. And when you're there, visit Pllek for a bite and drink. This place has the best view on the city and there is a small city beach!

If you want to see a movie you should definitely go to the filmhallen. It is in the old tram depot building which is transformed into a foodhall and a cinema.

Obviously a need to see when in Amsterdam. If you don't like art, go for the amazing building. We always visit at the end of the day (1.5 hour before closing time). It is not that busy anymore and there is enough time to see a part of the museum. It is way too big to see everything at ones anyway.
