The doughnut shop that's taken Brisbane and the rest of Australia by storm, has opened shop in Clayfield! The set-up's simple but the doughnuts are definitely not! If you love doughnuts, the ever-changing, creative creations are a must-try.

We had to put South Bank Parklands under 'Everything Else', well, because it really has a little bit of everything. Situated on the river, it has parks, markets, a vibrant dining scene and nightlife, a kids park and even an artificial beach! You'll have beautiful views of the river and the city, and there are museums and art galleries close by should it be rainy.

The bridge lights up in a different colour each night. It's a pedestrian and car bridge, so you can cross it on foot for some great views of the Brisbane CBD. Arts & Culture

Free Museum inside the City Hall that offers a good history of Brisbane, and a changing exhibition of local and international artists. You can get a free guided tour of the building and the clock tower too. If you get peckish, the Shingle Inn on the ground floor is a Brisbane institution; this is not the original location, but you'll find old-fashioned, old-world baked goods. Katharine Hepburn is known to have had tea at the original cafe!
