Book before you go

Weather and seasons in Ghana

Ghana is an 'anytime' destination because of its consistent tropical climate throughout the year.  It is typically dry along the south east coast, hot and humid in the south west and hot and dry in the north, with seasonal rains from April to June as well as September to mid November. There is only one rainy season in the northern part of Ghana - April to October. The dry seasons are November to December and July to August.
Getting around

GoodTransport/Getting around

Getting around in Accra town centre is easy with the many Uber type transport - Bolt, Yango and Uber. at time writing, Uber does not start journeys from Oyibi but if you are in town, it will bring you to the house. The pre agreed price of these car hire apps are best. If you have to use a local taxi, always agree the price before you get into the taxi. (Bargaining is allowed). Taxis do not use street names rather landmarks near your destination.
