This is the busier beach in town but has some amenities to enjoy your day. There is a club house with change rooms and food available. Little kids can enjoy the water park and play ground. You can also rent paddle boards from the club house.

Hiking

Great hike for family and view of the entire valley. You can drive up with a good clearance vehicle or 4 x 4 to the well marked trail. Its not too strenuous hike for those that want an incredible view. You may also be able to see paragliders or hang gliders take off from this point. CAUTION: The road up to Swansea can be dangerous. A high clearance 2WD vehicle can drive up past the trailhead about 2 km to the next parking area and even beyond that to the next area at 5 km. Downhill mountain bikers often do this but most hikers park down below. A 4WD vehicle is highly recommended.

Anyone who has driven along Hwy 93/95 south of Fairmont Hot Springs has been surprised and amazed as they came upon the hoodoos, for they are a distinct landmark in this part of the Columbia Valley. You don’t need to view them from a speeding vehicle, however – see them up close and personal from the hiking trail.

Don't miss

Juniper Heights Trails

There are lots of great walking/hiking/Mountain Bike Trails right from the property. You can get interactive trail maps from Trail Forks. I’ve included a map as well. I’ve marked the entrance to the trails at the end of the cul de sac just past the big rock at the end of the driveway.
