Cipollina has lovely small and large plates. The name is Italian (and they do have fabulous handmade pizzas) they offer more continental flair with locally sourced ingredients and a nice wine list.

Galaxy is great for breakfast though their lunch and dinner are good. Simple fair like omelettes, sandwiches and a fabulous skirt steak and sweet potato fries. Casual, family friendly atmosphere.

One of our favorites for coffee and run by very cool neighborhood family. Coffee is excellent, baristas are stellar and even have beer in the evening. A major neighborhood haunt.

Favorite for breakfast. Open from 8 to 4 pm. Locally grown foods and creativ breakfast and lunch specials. Rated one of the best burgers in Austin but we like the crab cakes and Fried Egg Sandwich.

The closest place to get cajun food if you are craving. Not the most fantastic cuisine though the oysters are good as are crawfish when in season. A good dive bar & restaurant.
