The coastal dune lakes are the most unique ecosystem. The trail is 1 mile. is thick with sand and can be tiresome for some. Beautiful park worth visiting. The park also has a 4.5 mile hiking-biking trail that will take you through the forest. Rent a kayak or a Nucanoe from the ranger station.
