Accessible from Gyulakeszi (nearby village) cars can be parked at a tiny parking lot at the bottom. Consider this as a longer excursion (1,5 hours to make tot he top) but it is worth the effort, getting to the top you’ll see the Csobánc castle’s ruin, and maybe some paragliders too.

Bit hard to reach the top with chidren (you may have to carry them at some point) but one of the nicest panorama of the Lake Balaton once you’re up.

Kopasz-hegy („Bald Hill”), Mindszentkálla: The hill just behind our house, seen from the backyard and the terrace. Offering an exceptional view of the Káli Basin. Go to the village center (Káli Kapocs pub and church) go uphill on the left side of the church then turn right . Either you stay on this road or take a right turn to a hidden path that will lead you to a line of stairs just like in a fairy tale leading straight to the top. 4-5 yrs old child will manage to climb it with appropriate motivation. Ask for directions to the hidden stairs at the pub!
