If you enjoy walking and amazing views, then the walk along Tennyson Down is a must. From here in places you can see where the land meets the water on both sides of where you are standing. It is definitely breath taking and can be very windy.

Cowes is a nice town to wonder around and there are always plenty of boats to see as you walk along the shore. Definitely worth visiting in Cowes week when all the stands are put up and the races are on.

Cycling

The red Squirrel trail is an ideal cycling track. A lot of the trails is off road and uses the old disused Isle of Wight railway line which has been turned into a trail for walking and cycling. The nearest trail to Brambles Chine is in Yarmouth and can easily be accessed next to the Off the Rails cafe in Yarmouth.

Great fun. You can either take the fast rib boat ride or the more leisurely paced larger boat. It will take you right round the needles and back.

Bembridge Windmill is a very good example of a windmill complete with all its running gear. It is about 35 minutes drive from the bungalow and we found parking very limited.
